DAY 3, MET THE PRESIDENT!!! OF AYUTTHAYA UNIVERSITY..

It was Tuesday, an important day, at least one of in my life. I would meet the president of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University (ARU). We had started the day since 7:30. Na and firsy waited us again in front of our dormitory. We went to the university by tuk-tuk. Then, we were having breakfast. Then, Ms. Sabrina came to us and picked us up to the meeting meeting room. The president was already there. He explained several things related to education system in Thailand, how to be a good teacher, and welcoming us as son and daughter. He also give us a souvenir, which was a lovely book with his sign inside.

By the time goes on, the meeting should be ended. Then, Ms. Sherina took us into our each school. My friend, Chest and I were dropped first because we got Satit Ayutthaya High School, the demonstration school of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University. Then, she led us to meet Ms. Noi and Ms. Toktak. Lucky me because they were the teacher of English at school. Soon after, Ms. Noi gave us the lesson schedule to make us easier while doing the observation. Afterthat, Ms. Toctack brought us to the room where we were going to stay. soon after, Ms. Noi took us to take a tour in introducing every rooms in the Satit Ayutthaya High School. From this moment, we knew that it has six mathiom. Mathiom 1 until 4 have four classes, while mathiom 5 until 6 have two classes. Every grade which stayed in section one are acted as a gifted or special class.

At the same day, after I had the schedule, I did the observation in Mathiom 1 section 2 after getting the permission. The teacher was Ms. Fa, the student of ARU who did the practice teaching also. She explained the material about quantifier such as; some, any, a lot, much, and many. She used the picture in the big screen in front of class to make learning more interesting. An hour had pass and the class was over. an hour here meant 50 minutes lesson.

Then I went to another class which was Ms. Toktak class at 11:10. She led the discussion about type of movie with her students. Then, she made some games about guessing. After she told the movies’ clue, the students should try to answer the title of the movie. In the ending, she played some recordings related to the material in the students’ book and discussed it together.
